Geocache Description:

This cache is dedicated to geocacher Sgauss for his contribution to the local geocaching community.

Sgauss has made his mark in Chicagoland geocaching with his salute to one of his favorite movies "The Big Lebowski". He tells us that movie stars Jeff Bridges as "The Dude" and that the story involves a case of mistaken identity which leads to trouble and adventure for The Dude.

I have to admit I've never seen The Big Lebowski but I found something while caching one day and just had to pay my own tribute to The Big Sgausski. At least that's the title which struck me me as being appropriate when I found what I found and what you now seek.

Due to Sgauss placing caches at all of the bowling alleys in and around Chicago I had to do a bit of searching to locate an appropriate spot. You'll need to look across the street to find the reason for the chosen location but a bowling alley is indeed here in the tradition of Sgauss's Big Lebowski tributes.
