GeocachaAlaska! welcomes you to International CITO
There may still be snow on the ground but that wont keep ALASKA cachers from doing our part. Heck a little snow never hurt anyone.
The International CITO weekend is all weekend but we'll do our part on Sunday. This will be a great way for us Alaskan cachers to get together and do something good for the Earth other than hiding little caches on her :)
Fuzzybelly has been working with the folks from the Girdwood Glacier Ranger Station. He asked if they had anywhere they may need CITO'd because he knew he could get together a bunch of cachers for the job. Well this is where they picked. So lets all meet UP and scrub the place DOWN (in fact I think fuzzy could use a good scrubbing too). Afterwards there's caches in the area to be found, great socializing to enjoy, amazing scenery to take in, AND you'll earn a 2013 CITO souvenir.
So lets all get out and do some CITO, earn that smiley, and pretty the place up a bit.(and fuzzybelly will be ready with his soap on a rope, back scrubber, and pit stick).
When: Sunday April, 21st, 11am
Who: All Alaska cachers and anyone who'll join
Where: At the "Welcome to Kenai" sign, between the Portage cut off and Turnagain Pass
Why: To CITO on International Cito Weekend.
*****Anyone who is able to help haul trash to Girdwood afterwards, please let fuzzybelly know*****
