Geocache Description:

The #52 Hampshire Monthly Mid-week Meeting will be held on Wednesday 10th April 2013 from 6pm at The White Swan, Mansbridge Road, West End, Southampton SO18 3HW - close to Junction 5 of the M27.  

We always warmly welcome new cachers and visitors from beyond Hampshire – please introduce yourself when you arrive. Wherever you're from it's a great opportunity for putting faces to names, swapping caching tales and trackables, as well as picking up hints and advice from fellow cachers.

We have reserved the new conservatory for our own use (to the left and through the restaurant as you enter the main entrance of the pub).  There will be the usual raffle with lots of great prizes, run by thekennelat79.

There is a pub menu which includes a carvery for those who wish to eat. Please would you include on your attendance if you are eating and numbers attending.  Further details of the White Swan can be found on their website http://www.greatbritishcarvery.co.uk/our-pubs/white-swan
 
There is a large car park from which a path leads alongside the River Itchen, under the bridge and into Riverside Park - should you have time for some local caching.

Hampshire monthly mid-week meet events take place on the second Wednesday of each month, being held at a different location in Hampshire each time and hosted by a different cacher or caching team.  Please give some thought to the possibility of arranging a future meet.
