Crow T Robot: This listing was published with the understanding that a local maintainer would be taking care of the geocache. That has obviously not happened and there have been numerous problems with this cache over the years.

Geocache Description:

Sky High Museum

This is one of the best places in the world, Namche Bazaar! Just a 10minute walk from Namche is the Sagamartha Museum which tells you loads about the history of the area and lots about Sir Edmond Hillary and Tenzing Norgay when they first climbed Everest. It has info about the mountain itself as well as a logbook to sign when you visit the museum.
You can reach here by many treks such as the Everest Base Camp trek or the combination of the Gokyo lakes trek. You can also just do a trek to Namche Bazaar to enjoy the views of the himalayas and see one of the most beautiful villages anywhere.
We stayed in the Kongde lodge and the staff were very friendly and the lady, Ency, is a great cook :)
There are loads of things to do in Namche and there is a Nepalese/Tibetan market to shop at.
The museum gives you your first glimpses of Everest peak as well as the surrounding giants of Lhotse, Nuptse, and Ama Dhablam. You can also see Tam Serku, Kongde Ri, and Kogde peaks from here.
Namche is also where you do your acclimatization day if you are going higher and you can walk up to the Everest view hotel and spend some time there let your body get used to the altitude.
This is our 2nd trip here and we are now running groups bringing them back and forth. Can't wait to come back.
Lots of Love to Nepal, the Nepalese people, and The Himalayas, One of our favourite places in the world.

The old cache was destroyed by construction work and replaced in April 2014 and all coordinated and descriptions updated. The new cache is a cylindrical shaped container with a blue cap. Good luck with your onward trek and happy geocaching.
Unfortunately, I have not been able to get back to maintain this cache so I do not know what condition it is in. I know the original box was replaced a while back and it is still there although the original location changed (coordinates were updated). It's a great area and I want this cache to remain here so please take care of it and feel free to add another notebook or do any maintenance if you have something with you at the time and send me a message and I'll update the information and mention your names in the post also... Massive thanks and happy hiking everyone. Lex
