We thought it was about time we added our church to the growing list of Church Mirco's
This is a small traditional cache & should be an easy find but stealth will be needed to keep it hidden from muggles. There may be brief parking (just long enough to grab it) outside the church itself or on Hanover street to the side of the church. Please take some time to take a look at the church & photos would be great The GPS often jumps around near the cache so be aware the co-ords may be out
Newcastle under Lyme Congregational Church was founded in 1776 and a brick building was erected, then called Marsh Chapel because of the ground it stood on.
In 1859 in was replaced with the current structure. It has undergone lots of changes in side and out including adding the porch way, but still looks very much like its original structure with its impressive spire and unusual 'Rose' window at the front. It is 'Listed' due to its special quailities.
