A group of cachers have gathered together to place caches along The Hertfordshire Way; a 194 mile circular route along public rights-of-way within the County of Hertfordshire. Rather than caches at every 0.1 mile we have tried to put together interesting hides with cool Bonus Caches.
Leg 3 stretches from Willian to Codicote for 11.8 miles. As you walk the path collect the information you need to find the Bonus Cache at waypoints along the route. We advise that you bring sturdy boots for very muddy terrain and a high visibility vest with you because a couple of short sections require walking along the road.

Cache Details
We'd like to think that some geocachers will want to walk the whole 11.8 mile route of the Hertfordshire Way Leg 3. We did it in stages, with a car either end, so you might like to 'buddy up' with other cachers and make a day of it. To reward and encourage those that complete the whole route from Willian to Codicote there are numbers to collect all along the way (not in the caches themselves), which can be 'crunched' into co-ordinates to find this regular, camouflaged bonus cache. It too is hidden close to the route you will have walked, but you will have to go back to get it (probably by car for most of the way!).
The waypoint coordinates and questions are posted with the details of their nearest caches (assuming you have walked in the Willian to Codicote direction). They are also repeated in the waypoints section of this cache listing. Use the nineteen numbers in the following calculation to obtain the location of the bonus cache.
50,187 + (Sum of numbers obtained from Bonus A + B + C + D + E + F + G + H + I) = TU,UVU
14,615 + (Sum of numbers obtained from Bonus J + K + L + M + N + O + P + Q + R + S) = WT,XYU
Cache can be found at: North 51° TU.UVU West 000° WT.XYU
*Please re-hide the cache well after you have found it because we don't expect it to be found very often!*
