A bit of background info
There are records of a church here since 1284, the current decorated gothic style building was built around 1866 - remains of an older building destroyed by fire are on the north side. The bell tower houses 4 bells; the ground floor of the tower is also the entrance porch where the C12 marble font is kept. There are some interesting memorials to see in the porch, if it is open when you visit.
