This is an easy traditional cache placed on a single track country road. It makes a possible circular caching route when combined with the Church micros at Itchen Stoke and Ovington.
Ovington mill is a picturesque 18th century listed building (now a private house) which sits astride the Itchen.
There is room for a car to stop near the cache, however the lane is quiet and pleasant to walk along, so I would recommend starting from Ovington to make the most of the views.
If combined with the Church micros at Itchen Stoke and Ovington (starting at any of the 3 caches) it makes a circular walking route of a little less than 2 miles. The B3047 can get a little busy, and is a bus route but there is a pavement from the top of the lane where this cache is hidden to the church at Itchen Stoke.
