Geocache Description:

Saint Perpetua Trail leads up through the beautiful coastal forest to the top of Cape Perpetua. Open year round, this trail provides many breathtaking opportunities for sightseeing, bird watching, and wildlife viewing. Access this trail from either the Cape Perpetua day use site or the connecting wheelchair accessible Whispering Spruce Trailhead for an easier trek. The cape itself, which is 800 feet at its peak, is worth the trip. The stone West Shelter, built in the 1930’s, offers stunning 150 mile views of the Oregon Coast and much of the Florence Edition GeoTour territory.
