Geocache Description:

PROUD MEMBERS OF

Celebrating Groundspeaks 11th Annual CITO Weekend SCGA style
I HOP (International Help Our Parks).

Join us on International C.I.T.O. Weekend, April 21, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. till 11:00 a.m. at Rockledge Park, Rockledge.

This weekend marks the International Cache In Trash Out's 11th year. CITO or Cache In Trash Out is supported by the Geocaching Community. For the last 10 years, Geocachers around the world have been dedicated to improving and cleaning up parks, trails, and other cache-friendly places. Through these volunteer efforts, we help preserve the natural beauty of our outdoor resources!

This year, the SCGA will go all out to say thank you to the community by hosting 7 clean-up events, and 2 food events, covering the Space Coast from Eau Gallie to Titusville. Feel free to attend as many of the days events as you like. Just get out and help clean-up our little corner of Mother Earth. We'll keep the events short, only 1 hour each, so we can pack as much into the day and have the greatest impact. As each event is only 1 hour long, please be prompt and ready to work. Please bring gloves and grabbers if you want them. We will supply some grabbers that will be provided by Keep Brevard Beautiful as well as garbage bags.

Rockledge Park, situated in a partially wooded area, this 40-acre community park offers a variety of athletic opportunities. Ball fields along most of the north and east boundaries of the park include softball, senior little league, football, soccer fields, and some concession stands. Racquet enthusiasts enjoy the racquetball courts, tennis courts and Har-Tru clay tennis courts. The shaded exercise trail is popular, and the large pavilion with a barbeque pit, 2 small pavilions, playground, restrooms and drinking fountains make this park perfect for group gatherings. Rockledge Park is located at the end of Cogswell St. off of Barton Rd, in Rockledge.
