The series is geo-kid friendly, with all caches placed away from the water. In fact, all bar one, are on the land side of the path, and even that one is not near the water’s edge.
While the path is wheelchair, buggy and bicycle friendly, most of the caches would not be reachable from the path – with some requiring brief scrambles etc.
This stretch of the Liffey is used by a lot of rowing clubs. It’s very common to see a crew training along here, often accompanied by the coach cycling along the path, or the coxswain (or simply the cox) sitting in the stern.
Watch out for herons and other wildlife.
Parking is available for 4 or 5 cars at the Chapelizod end or at the bigger car park in the War Memorial Gardens (this closes at 16.00 hrs). Waypoints for both added.
The cache is a small disguised container. Enjoy.
