Cabo Coffe Can Cache Traditional Geocache

A short hike from Lover's Beach in Cabo San Lucas. A great view and worth the hike. Just be carful on top of the cliff
We took the glass bottom boat to Lover's beach in search of another cache that is most likely not there. My wife and I hiked up a steep but short hill from the pacific side of lover's beach to the crest of the hill. From here we could see everything! There is a cement pillar that is within 10 feet of the cache. Once you find the cement pillar, look ten feet towards the water, and you will find a rusty tin can about the size of a coffee can. it is not quite big enough to put CD's in, but I did load it up with gold American dollars, lots of polished rocks, and several more goodies. Go no more than ten feet or you will fall of the cliffs! There is a barbed wire fence that you will have to climb through, but the opening is wide and many have done this before. After this hike, we walked on the trail that is no more than fifty feet from the cache and headed towards the marina. There is an old brick house on top of a hill that has a great view (and signs in Spanish that say to keep out!) You could come in this way, but you would have to find a way to get past a fence. We found a hole in the fence and headed down and out towards the pacific side near a large hotel. then we went from hear to find the Solomar Sand, Surf and Scramble.
