TT10 - Tottington Totter Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

lost!: Thanks Philip and sorry for the hassle. We had an instance last winter when taking some Beavers and Cub scouts along this path where the landowner of the private woods was very unpleasant to some of the children who strayed off the footpath to avoid the impassable mud. I will pick up the cache if it is still there next time I do a maintenance run which will probably be in March.

Geocache Description:

The Tottington Totter is a walk of about 8 miles which affords stunning views of the South Downs and beyond!

If you follow the trail in numerical order you will begin your journey at Truleigh Hill. You can park near TT01. From here there is a pleasant descent towards Tottington Manor Hotel and then you are on the flat for the next 4 miles. You will pass through Tottington Wood and follow some nice footpaths and bridleways offering excellent views of the South Downs. There is opportunity to take refreshment in Fulking and then continue up the hill and walk the South Downs Way back to where you parked.

Most the caches are close to the path. They are mostly micros (screw-top camoed specimen pots) but there are also some larger caches containing some small swaps and room to place trackables.

I hope you enjoy the walk, the scenery, and the caches!
