Enzo5: Racing in the Rain (LBROB Season 2) Multi-cache

This cache has been archived.

LavaLizard: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Enzo Geocaching Super Challenge
If you are an ambitious geocacher, enter to win a “special edition” prize by participating in the “Enzo Geocaching Super Challenge.” (1) Find Enzo Geocaches #1-6. (2) Log your find. (3) Pick up a piece of "treasure" from each one. (4) Send an email to di.laplume.geocaching@gmail.com. In it, list the six pieces of treasure, and include your first and last name. You MUST include all six items. One entry per person. All valid entries will be entered in a random drawing for a super fabulous Enzo prize. Deadline to enter: April 1, 2013, 11:59 p.m.

There is no container located at the coordinates provided. What you will find is three outdoor sculptures with stories spilling out of them onto the ground. Find the one that was sponsored by Drs. Thomas and Mary Barton Mayes. Read the terrifying tale, and then use the numbered clues to fill in the blanks in the puzzle.

When you are done filling in the blank puzzle spaces by using the directions given, you will have something that looks a lot like gibberish. You're on the right track. You will need to decipher the clue once again, this time using a more familiar decryption key. C'mon. You know the one. The result will lead you to WP2, indoors.

You can solve WP1 anytime. But in order to access WP2 and beyond, you will need to come during business hours: Mon Closed; Tues 12:00PM – 7:00PM; Wed 12:00PM – 6:00PM; Thurs 12:00PM – 7:00PM; Fri 10:00AM – 5:00PM; Sat 10:00AM – 5:00PM; Sunday Closed.

As usual, no need to drop off any swag -- just take something!

FYI: The text used in this sculpture/geocache puzzle is taken from a traditional African folktale named for the featured creature (no rhyme intended). Several versions are available for checkout at this and other library branches.

*** Congratulations to those party animals who found this one using their team-working skills! Smoochersmom (sans Harley), Papa Simmons, and Bajatym, you guys get two barks from Enzo! ***
