A simple (or not so simple?) addition to the Jerra series, right on the border of New South Wales and the ACT.
There is NO NEED to cross the fence onto the train tracks. Play safe!
If you believe the sign, you're in New South Wales. If you believe Google Maps, you're in the ACT. In either case, you're right on the border
The Area
This spot is right on the border of New South Wales and the ACT. From GZ you can see the Alexander Maconochie Centre, as well as the sign welcoming you to Queanbeyan - "Country Living, City Benefits". The Google Street View near GZ is well out of date as it doesn't show the new bridge. Graffiti afficionados may enjoy the work under the bridge, but I wouldn't recommend it.
The road bridge crosses the old train line. I don't think the trains run along here anymore except for an occasional historical or recreational service... In any case, there is NO NEED to cross the fence onto the tracks.
The Cache
Cache is a one-litre cylindrical sports drink bottle. That in itself might be enough of a hint to help find it. There's plenty of room for swaps.
Official FTF honours to Chalk It Up!
