Geocache Description:

A cache near Kerasia village.

The small country roads around Kerasia will lead you to a nice church, in a glorious, inspiring setting, Panayia i Faneromeni, H Παναγία η Φανερωμένη, meaning roughly The Apparition of the Virgin. This is a tranquil and relaxing setting, with many large trees and picnic tables to enjoy the view of the little gorge with cypress pines.
The road (dirt and cement) is part of the E4 trail. You just have to follow the sign of the church. (Only 1 E4 sign is on the way)
If you want to walk the E4 trai till Agios Antonios churchl it is better to do it at summer time because it goes in the river bed about 1.5km. Otherwise you can try the dirt road, what is on the west side of the gorge till the next E4 CTC at Agios Antonios church.
