Experience a taste of how Florence’s early pioneers lived at the Siuslaw Pioneer Museum Siuslaw Pioneer Museum. Located in Historic Old Town Florence, the Pioneer Museum’s goal is to educate people on the lives of pioneers, most of whom worked as loggers and fisherman. The treasures of this museum run deep in antique artifacts, including Native American arrowheads and uniforms from the Vietnam War. Come back when you have more time and take a self guided Historic Walking Tour, a 21-stop trail through Old Town.
