Geocache Description:

Oregon State Parks Day Use Fee Required

Woahink Lake lies three miles from the ocean and is one of the two freshwater lakes in Honeyman State Park. Measuring 7 square miles, Woahink is a great place for recreational boating and fishing. Everything from cutthroat trout, to yellow perch, to smallmouth bass, can be caught in the lake. Woahink used to be a part of the Siltcoos River Delta, but glacial ice formed sand dunes which stopped the rivers and formed lakes. At the far end of the lake, there is a base for seaplanes. You might be able to catch one taking off if you’re lucky!
