Židovský hřbitov v Telči
[CZ] Nový židovský hřbitov byl postaven v letech 1879-80 poblíž železniční trati za příměstským lesem Oslednice na místě zvaném U širokých luk. Je ohrazen cihlovou zdí, jeho výměra je 2784m². Na západní zdi hřbitova je obřadní síň. Po obou stranách vstupních vrat jsou na vnější straně zdi umístěny gabrové leštěné desky s nápisy.
Na hřbitově je asi 200 novodobých náhrobků ve třech řadách. Na náhrobcích jsou české, německé a hebrejské nápisy. Během války i po válce byl hřbitov částečně zdevastován. Dnes je hřbitov pod správou Židovské obce v Brně. Původní obřadní síň slouží jako výtvarná galerie.
[EN] A new Jewish Cemetery was built in the years 1879-80 near the railway behind the suburban wood of Oslednice at the spot called By wide meadows. It has been walled in with bricks, its area is 2784m². By the west wall, in the corner of the cemetery, there is a ceremonial room. Two polished stone plaques are placed on the outer side of the wall, on both sides of the front gate.
There are about 200 modern tombstones in three rows. There are Czech, German and Hebrew inscriptions on them. A part of the cemetery was damaged during the WW2 and later on. Today the cemetery is administrated by the Jewish community in Brno. The former ceremonial room is used as an art gallery.
The cemetery is not freely open to the public. Hřbitov není volně přístupný.
