The park is open every day of the year (except Christmas and Good Friday, from 7am to 6pm (9pm during daylight savings) & entry to the park is free.

The Cache
The open area at the top of Wilson Botanic Park is designated as the 'Ball Games' area. It has always amused me that this area is right on top of the hill, is quite a steep climb to get to & can be quite windy, not the obvious place for ball sports. There are some seats nearby if you need a rest after climbing the hill.
BYO pen and please rehide the cache so that it cannot be obviously seen or muggled.
