Geocache Description:

A short series of 4 caches in or near Batcliffe Wood.
Please be STEALTHY as the area is well used by  students and local people.
PLEASE replace the caches exactly as found with the logs in their sealed bags to keep them dry. Thank you.
Co-ords are averaged due to tree cover.
Congratulations to BRAMAG on FTF,despite the 'magic' log!

Batcliffe Wood provides a "green corridor" from Kirkstall Lane to Beckett Park.
It comprises  stands of mature forest trees, including horse chestnut, beech and oak.
Being on a hill it provides some panoramic views of the local area.
Despite it's urban location it is, thankfully, for the most part, litter free and is particularly attractive in Spring with fresh growth on the trees and a carpet of bluebells.

Sometimes the paths are VERY muddy.
