REGLAS DEL JUEGO:
1: Podrán participar en la partida todos los equipos de geocaching que lo deseen, independientemente de que hayan participado o no en la GEO-BBQ.
2: La partida comenzará a las 16:00 horas, o bien cuando estén presentes todos los participantes y así lo estimen oportuno. El lugar de celebración será el Area Recreativa “El Caminanto”, en las coordenadas del caché "A.recreativa/El Caminanto": N 38° 16.983 W 000° 53.077.
3: Al comenzar la partida se revelarán 5 cartas de postura con las que jugarán todos los participantes. Estas cartas NO PODRÁN ser fotografiadas ni anotadas, sino que deberán retenerse mentalmente. Fotografiarlas o anotarlas puede ser motivo de descalificación si así lo acuerdan el resto de jugadores.
4: A continuación se proporcionará a cada participante las coordenadas de uno de los tres cachés temáticos de la partida. Estos cachés se publicarán en geocaching.com a la finalización de la misma.
5: Los participantes buscarán el caché que les haya correspondido y cogerán de su interior una carta, la que ellos decidan, para ir montando su jugada. Sólo se podrá coger una carta por caché y participante. Una vez entregada a la mesa, esa carta no podrá cambiarse.
6: Cuando los participantes regresen a la mesa con su carta, se les dará las coordenadas de otro de los cachés, para que puedan continuar montando su jugada.
7: Cada equipo podrá mantener oculta del resto de jugadores una de las tres cartas escogidas en los cachés. La carta oculta se podrá cambiar en cualquier momento de la partida.
8: Una vez todos los equipos hayan recogido una carta de cada caché, resultará vencedor el jugador que entre las cartas de postura y las tres cartas recogidas obtenga la mejor jugada de poker siguiendo la siguiente tabla:
Hay que señalar que en la jugada final seleccionada NO PODRÁN haber dos cartas iguales. Por ejemplo no se podrá hacer un trío de reyes con un rey de tréboles en la postura y con un rey de picas y un rey de tréboles en las cartas seleccionadas en los cachés.
9: En caso de empate ganará el jugador que haya cogido la carta de más valor en los cachés (siendo el As la de mayor valor). Si continuara el empate, decidirán las dos mayores cartas y, en su caso las tres mayores cartas.
10: En el improbable caso de que persistiera el empate, los jugadores irán cada uno a un caché y seleccionarán cada uno tres cartas nuevas, posteriormente se deshará el empate siguiendo los criterios del punto 9.
11: Al tratarse del primer Open de Geo-Poker, cualquier duda sobre las reglas o laguna de las mismas será solucionada por Manupor3, croupier de esta partida.
No es necesario saber jugar al poker para participar. Todo será muy sencillo y apto para todo el mundo.

GAME RULES
1: Any team can take part in the game, whether they have taken part in the Geo-BBQ or not.
2: The game will start at 16.00 or when all the teams gather and decide to start. It will take place in Area Recreativa “El Caminanto”, in the cordinates of the geocache "A.recreativa/El Caminanto": N 38° 16.983 W 000° 53.077.
3: When the game starts, 5 community cards will be shown to everyone, since these cards will be common to all the contestants. No one can take a picture of them or write anything down, but these have to be memorized. If all the contestants decide so, anyone who takes a picture or writes details down can be disqualified.
4. After showing the cards, every team will be given the coordinates of one of the three thematic geocaches of the game. Those geocaches will be published on geocaching.com once the game is finished.
5. The contestants will look for that geocache and will take one of the cards they will find in it, the one they prefer, to create their hand. Bear in mind that each team can take only one card in each of the geocaches. Once the card is handed out to the board, it will not be possible to change it.
6: When the contestants get to the board with their card, they will be given the coordinates of another geocache so they can continue creating their hand.
7: Each team can hide one of the three selected cards from the rest of the contestants. The hidden card can be changed at any time during the game.
8: Once all the teams have picked a card out from each geocache, the team with the best cards, considering the five cards shown at the begining and the selected cards, will be the winner according to this chart:
It is important to bear in mind that it is not allowed to use two identical cards in the final hand. For instance, there can’t be three kings with a king of clubs in the community cards and a king of spades plus a king of clubs in the cards selected from the caches.
9: In case of a draw, the team who has picked the overcard in the caches will win (Ace being the higesth card). If there is still a draw, the two or three highest cards will be considered.
10: If it continues to be a draw, thought it is quite unlikely, the teams will go to one cache each and will pick three new cards. After this, criteria in point 9 will apply.
11: Since this is the first Geo-Poker Open, any question about the rules or loopholes will be solved by Manupor3, dealer of this game.
It is not necessary to know how to play poker to join the game. Everything will be very simple so anyone can play.
