Join the 2013 UK Mega Committee for an evening of circus themed fun and games! All geocachers are welcome whether you are camping with us or not. Please tell us how many people will be coming when you log a 'will attend'. Lets try and make this a Mega Event all on it's own! A hog roast (with vegetarian option) will be available to those who have pre-booked their tickets for just £4 each, or £5 if you pay on the night and there will also be a bar.
Reminder - can everyone please bring their own chairs for this event.
We are encouraging all campers to decorate their tents based on a circus theme and there will be a small prize given to the best one on the Friday evening. Fancy dress is optional, but we'd love to see lots of clowns and ringmasters etc. There will be lots of fun and games - why not try your hand at juggling?
We are pleased to announce we have a circus entertainer coming who will be meeting and greeting the crowd as they arrive, and then later on you can join him to try your hand at a range of circus skills, including juggling, plate spinning, diabolo, stilts, and unicycling. He will be on hand to advise, explain, and perhaps even astound, with the huge range of skills on show. There will be something for all skill levels, ages, and abilities, so come along, have fun, and don't forget that you are never too old or too clever to make a fool of yourself!
Advanced bookings for camping are now closed, however you can still turn up and pay when you arrive (subject to pitch availability). You can still join in with the hog roast even if you haven't pre-booked at £5 per person.
