Bye Bye Winter Bash
Come out and join us as we say so long to the cold months of winter and welcome the freshness and warmth of spring. As part of our 5th Annual Bye Bye Winter Weekend, the BBW Bash will be held on April 26th, 2014 in New Maryland (just south of Fredericton) at the New Maryland Centre from 5:00 - 8:00 pm.
It will be a potluck supper so get out your pots and pans and dust off your favorite recipes. Along with a great, fun meal and the camaraderie of a wonderful group of cachers we will be announcing the results of the 2013-2014 Come Out & Play Contest and presenting the prizes to the winners.
We will have a Coin and TB table for trading and discovering and we'll be having another 50/50 draw to help offset the venue rental.
We’re expecting over 100 people and realize one person can’t make a dish that will feed everyone so make yours to feed 8-10 (more if you choose) and identify it in your “will attend” log. If a few of you want to get together and supply a big batch of something, please do.
We will have extension cords for crockpots or slowcookers and the use of the kitchen. For those who don't cook or bake there are many other options. Chips, snacks, drinks (water, pop, juice, etc.), vegetable or fruit trays, cheese or cold cut trays would all be welcome. We will be providing all the utensils, plates, cups, etc.
Please post in your "will attend" log the number of people attending and what you are bringing. If you have any questions at all or would like some suggestions on what is still needed in terms of food, please contact us through our profile.
