Their are four old and valuable trees in Essex Crescent Rest Garden. OVT means the Chief Secretary will come to shake his/her head when they fall down. These are common Chinese Banyans. Note the aeriall roots which will descend and take root in. This area was built in the 1920's by C. Montague Edes (Legco and Insurance man) for wealthy business people; the company went bust, Edes died and it was completed in 1929. Now there are many Love Hotels, kindies and driving instructors.
Avoid school in and out. Weekends best.
