This cache is on Rock House Mine Rd--an access point to get to the Rabbit Ears canyon. The point of this cache is to do intermittent CITO to this area.
The cache is hidden just north of the road and is an easy find. It is tied to a stick, under a plate like rock on a small boulder. To log this cache, we ask you to perform some CITO on the road.
We suggest a shopping bag that rhymes with "SPILLARD'S"--we found them to be generous in size and fairly tough. We are not asking for garbage can size bag CITO.
We began collecting on our way down from "Just a Little Under a 1/4 mle to Go" cache. We collected beer cans, assorted plastic bottles, beer bottles, broken bottles, a very few soda cans and some metal pieces that clearly used to be attached to vehicles. There are plenty left, closer to Baylor Canyon Rd and above the cache as well.

"Mud" box, a "Nabst" box, a water box, a spray can, a couple of metal car parts, some old iron cans, misc. paper parts, and a bunch of broken glass.
We ask that you document the number and brand of beverage containers you collect and post a picture. We will keep a running total of "brands" on the cache page, so we can see just which beverage consumers are most likely to litter. Brand loyalty indeed. My bet is that "Mud Light" will continue to lead the pack, based on my thirty years of backcountry hiking (and litter removal) in New Mexico.
