When you visit this cache, do yourself a huge favor and take County Road 405 (located East of the Cache). CR405 is a gravel road that takes you through some of the nicest land in the Texas Hill Country. After about going down CR405 about two miles you will come to an unlocked gate. CR405 continues past the gate. Please continue, but ONLY if you have a high clearance vehicle. You will certainly get stuck crossing Double Horn Creek in a car. Be certain to shut the gate behind you. Respect the property owners warnings and DO NOT leave the main road. CR405 is one of my favorite roads to visit on my KLR650 motorcycle. Enjoy the cache. Enjoy CR405.
