Geocache Description:

An flash-event to celebrate the UK's top female cacher reaching her 10 year anniversary of geocaching.

Most people have heard of her, all over the country. Almost anyone you talk to that has been caching a while has heard of Esscafe and her caching numbers! In fact she has a cache named after her in the US!

She currently ranks as the #2 in the UK for total finds, and is the #1 female cacher for the same benchmark! Both Andy and I have had the honour of knowing this woman for a fair while now, and in fact I escorted her to Andy and Pat's Wedding back last year.

A while ago she mentioned to me that she'd like to find my 365 cache around the 10th anniversary of when she started caching, and would also like to make it her 10th 5/5 find. At that time she was only on 8 5/5 finds so I arranged to take her kayaking down an old canal tunnel to pick up the cache at the end of that, to get her to her 9th and thus put the other goal within reach.

Event date - Sat 23rd Feb. Event time, starting from 10:30am, finishing around 11:15am

This event is held at the nearest parking for my cache to celebrate her reaching all three of her goals (there is alternate parking listed in the additional waypoints in case it gets a little busy), after the event there are a few nearby caches for people to collect (including 2 set by Esscafe herself) and then we may retire to a nearby drinking establishment. I may not be able to go to that as I have other things I need to do that afternoon, but Andy will be on hand to help there.

All are welcome to attend, I shall bring along a cake or 2 for people to tuck into as well.

After the event we will adjourn to the George and Falcon on the A32 to the west, where we have exclusive use of the back room overlooking the garden. There is a good lunchtime menu and pre-ordering is not essential.
