Geocache Description:

Berrybank Copse is a small copse situated behind a parade of shops (with some car parking) in Sandhurst. It can be accessed via a small track behind the shops’ garages or by walking down the road of Berrybank. A few years ago, the copse was litter-strewn and overgrown. Following a grant from the BBC Breathing Spaces, the copse has now been tidied up and revitalised. There are seats, bird-boxes, bat-boxes and a pleasant wood-chipped path around the copse.

You are looking for small container in a camo bag – with goodies inside. Remember it is a copse, so the tree cover may upset your GPS. Please be aware there are residential houses and flats which border and overlook the site on 2 sides. Please keep noise levels down if visiting after dark. There is NO access from a nearby supermarket carpark, though it does provide ample parking and an additional 2 minutes walking. Why not walk around the whole wood-chipped path on your visit and admire the yew tree line which once marked the edge of military land ? Enjoy ! The cache was planted by kind permission of Bracknell Forest Borough Council. Several people have had trouble getting into the right area (and being a new cache, there's not yet been a cacher's path established (early 2013). The trick is to leave the bark-chip path as it curves around, head slightly uphill, passing under/around some quite serious rhododendron branches, until you see BOTH the flats and the houses. With your back to these properties, you will be facing the cache...though of course there are still a few places to look ! The cache hiding place has been moved slightly, by about 6 feet (2 metres) from the published co-ordinates. The cache kept moving from my GZ to where it is now so in the end, I've decided to keep the new position. This cache is only a short walk away from the CTS series which takes you up and down Branksome Hill Road and College Road. If you walk along Yorktown Road from CTS 1 towards this cache, walk down the road called "Berrybank", passing houses and garages before entering the copse.
