Geocache Description:

Kent County Cacher's Monthly Meet  #42 - The Minnis.

Saturday 9th March 2013.

12 mid-day to approx 3pm.

Welcome to the Kent County Cacher's Monthly Meet for March 2013 0n Saturday 9th March.

This is the first time we personally have held a monthly meet so we do hope that you will be able to pop along and say hello, everyone is more than welcome.

This is a great opportunity to meet fellow cacher's, exchange ideas, news and have a good catch up, plus maybe solve a few of those puzzle caches that you are stuck on.

Although we say "Kent" cacher's, anyone can come and join in the fun, it is always a pleasure to welcome "out of area" cacher's, plus we especially welcome those that are new to caching or have not been to a monthly meet before. Come and pick up a few hints and tips from the old pros' who will be available on hand to help.

Why not pop along, meet with fellow cacher's, maybe swap a few trackables and also put names to faces?

The Venue:

'The Minnis Bar & Restaurant'
The Parade
Minnis Bay
Birchington
Kent
CT7 - 9QP

Starts at 12 mid-day and finishes approx 3pm.

'The Minnis' is an ideal location to grab caches within the Thanet towns of Westgate, Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate, as well as the other local villages of St Nicholas At Wade, Manston, Minster and Monkton. Plus it is situated close to the main link road, the  A299 into Thanet where there are ample opportunities to stop and grab a cache or two en-route to the meet.

We are also aiming to place a series of caches to link in with the March meet, which will go live during the afternoon of the meet. These will be a series of assorted caches on a circular walk starting out from 'The Minnis', plus we are hoping to add a few new caches to the area over the next month or so.

The Minnis has both a bar menu as well as a full restaurant menu for those that wish to eat and includes vegetarian options.
Please state in your log if you wish to eat so that we can give an approximate number prior to the meet - thank you.

The venue is family friendly, it has disabled access, a beer garden over looking the beach and it also welcomes dogs. There is ample free parking along The Parade as well as other free parking nearby.

We look forward to seeing you there.
