Cafe in the Park
Hall Leys Park Matlock
The cafe is the meeting point for the event and they open at 10am .I shall be there at 10am and will be sat on a table inside with the log book, TB swap and with info on local and New caches.
The cafe has a menu for those who wish to eat all i ask is if you plan to eat please can youlet me know vis the will attend log as the cafe might have to get extra staff in.
The park offers great facilities for all the family, childrens paly areas, duck pond, skate park, table tennis tables (need to bring you own bats) and riverside walks (i wonder where the new caches might be!)
Dogs are allowed in the park and cafe decking but not inside the cafe.
There are several car parks around the town (most charge £1.20 an hour) but there are several side streets that there is free parking. (see photo)
Matlock is a former spa town and there is even a castle built by John smedley which you can see from the park.
