It has once again been a long winter in the Miami Valley and the time has come for our ninth annual Greater Dayton Winter Getaway event. Like last year, we are combining St. Patrick's day celebration with our winter getaway to get the Luck of the Greater Dayton Winter Getaway.

This year we return to the National Museum of the USAF and Marion's Piazza!
When : Sunday March 17th

Time: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Where: National Museum of the USAF

The entrance to the National Museum of the United States Air Force is on Springfield Street at historic Wright Field (Gate 28B), Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and

Marion's Pizza 3443 North Dixie Dr at Wagoner Ford Rd

Schedule of events:

1:00 PM - 1:30 PM - Meet at the museum for instructions for the informational scavenger hunt
We will be meeting upstairs in the cafeteria area NOT downstairs in the lobby.

1:00 PM - 3:00 PM - informational scavenger hunt and hands on activities at the Museum.
3:00 PM - 5:00 PM - Meet and Greet at Marion's

The musuem portion of the event is free while the meet and greet will cost each person the price of their own meal and/or drinks.


We will be awarding prizes for the 2012 Travel Bug race winners and have a few other prizes for those that attend.
We are getting a list together of those that would like to enter the 2013 travel bug race. Let us know if you would like to buy a travel bug for the next race so we can reserve one for you. We will have more on the next race in the next couple of weeks.

We will have up to XX travel bugs available to race this year.
We have custom-made items to attach to the travel bugs and
will be taking orders for them until March 8.
The price for 1 travel bug will be $10.00 or 2 for $18.00.
Anyone interested in purchasing a racer can leave a note here or send us an email.
