Geocache Description:

The 4th annual Spring Stomp in Kamloops.

This year's event starts on April 6th at 9:00..

At that time, we will have a meet and greet, package pickup, gpx file transfer, and vendors on site, Geocaching starts at 10:00 and runs for 2 days. The Wrap up Event (GC44BQ1) is 4:00 on Sunday.

We will be providing 125 new geocaches of all types, along with a map, gpx file transfers, and an opportunity to link up with other geocachers. Social events will be offered and you can sign-up for these at the Meet and Greet event at 9:00.

For Cache Owners:
  • Please note there are some new rules that you'll need to follow this year when submitting your caches for the event. If you don't follow these simple steps, your cache will be sent back to you by the reviewers! Caches may be submitted for review any time AFTER February 6 (60 days before the wrap-up Event) and BEFORE March 25. YOU WON'T HEAR FROM A REVIEWER UNLESS THERE'S A PROBLEM WITH THE PLACEMENT, SO DON'T WAIT FOR THAT. PLEASE PUT SS13 at the END of the cache name. Having it in the name helps the reviewers, but having it at the beginning makes for confusion on your GPS DO REMEMBER to include a "note to reviewer" (bottom of your hide-a-cache page) saying that "This is a Spring Stomp cache. Please publish on April 7."
