A great night adventure! This cache is designed in a way that it
can only be done by night! You will start at Hofheim/Taunus
Diedenbergen (tennis court). The destination is an area where you
will have a nice view over Frankfurt - which will be well lit by
the time you'll be there.
This cache is a multi cache with four stages. Each stage is made of
a small 35mm film canister containing the necessary information.
The canisters are modified to reflect light very well. So it ist
possible to spot such a cache over more then 100m provided you have
a good torch and there's no tree in your line of sight. However, I
won't place the caches more than 50m from the given coordinates.
The final cache contains a small task. With the result you will be
able to prove your success in the database log at geocaching.com.
Don't bring any trade items. There's no room for anything!
Every set of coordinates does NOT represent the cache locations
itself but a point where to start your search. I'll provide a
general direction of search though. But the task for you is light
the forest and look for the reflecting caches.
Bring a good torch (maybe even a spare one) and of course spare
batteries. Think of spare batteries for your GPS as well as you may
want to operate it with the light turned on. A compass might be of
use although it is not necessary. The whole tour is about 10 to
12km (roundtrip) so you will be probably out there for 3 hours.
Park your car at N 50 03.883 E 8 24.663 and proceed to the stage 1
cache at the above given location. At the coordinates head South
East into the forest and look for the first cache.
