Knagur Green: Due to no response from the CO after the request to maintain or replace the cache, I am archiving it to, stop it showing on the listings and/or to create place for the geocaching community.

The Geocache Maintenance guideline explains a CO's responsibility towards checking and maintaining the cache when problems are reported.

Geocache Description:

Karnagio (in Greek "Καρνάγιο") comes from the Italian word "Carenaggio" and its english translation is Shipyard / Dockyard.

Limassol Karnagio area is in the heart of the city but yet it is unknown by most of its residents. It lies on "Aktea Odos" road, between the Old and the New Harbour of the city, and it is just 5 minutes walk from the Limassol medieval Castle and the Molos Limassol Promenade.

For dacades several "makeover" plans and studies were elaborated for the wider Karnagio area but till now none of them was implemented. About 5 years ago next to the Old Habour, the large scale project of Limassol Marina begun its construction works and this will definately give a boost to the wider area and this nostalgical Limassol spot will be eventually altered forever and ever...

Limassol Karnagio area is the perfect place for inspired photographers who want to capture in their cameras the proof that there, on that place some years ago it used to lie an old shipyard... Best time to visit, during sunrise or during sunset.

I tried really hard to find a hide for the cache nor too difficult to find, neither too easy due to muggles that work in the shipyards around. The area is full of junk stuff and garbages but dont bother to search in them, my purpose wasn't to make geoacachers life difficult but instead to find a relatively safe and clean place for the cache. I must admit that i am not completely satisfied from the hide i found but it was the best among the rest. Although "Aktea Odos" is a loose road and during winter it can get muddy, you won't have any problem going there with any kind of car.

The cache is a small blue plastic container and it is clearly marked as a geocache. Inside you will find a small logbook, a small pen and some space for a couple of exchangeables. Please make sure that you close the container carefully and place it back exactly as found, so that it will remain safe and dry. The hint and the spoiler picture will make your life much easier
