Hidden bridge recently renovated by the council, close to the site of the old corn mill.
The mill is now a private home and was one of two in this valley. It was a corn mill as was the one in Piddlehinton. The footbridge dates back to at least 1888 and was somewhat more rickety some years ago. The council renovated it recently and it crosses this peaceful stream and picks up the many footpaths around this village.
The cache is far too small for a pen so bring your own. Tweezers might help to get the log out. Please take care not to drop the cache in the stream.
The Little Bridges series was started by Stanthews in 2009 to highlight small footbridges in remote parts of Wiltshire.
