Kop van de Reus


Iets later dan verwacht de 6e Traditional van de Koppensnellers. Wegens omstandigheden wat verlaat, maar hier is ie dan.

Deze plaats viel ons pas geleden op, een leuk plekje aan het water met een mooi parkje, flink wat boten en het gedenkteken van de Reus. De locatie ligt aan het Westerdok en laat je een mooi stukje Amsterdam zien. De oude doks zijn de afgelopen (tientallen) jaren het gebied geworden waar binnenin de stad veel nieuwbouw heeft plaatsgevonden. Neem eventueel plaats op het bankje en kijk even rustig rond.

De cache is een box, verstopt onder een degelijke houtconstructie. Kijk goed uit bij het pakken van de cache, want er is genoeg water in de buurt waarin de box kan verdwijnen.

We incidentally came to this place a little while ago and we liked the athmosphere. A small park, many boats and a Giant (Reus) statue. Its location is at the Westerdok and shows you a nice part of Amsterdam. The former Docks have been the area where the past years/decades a lot of new houses were built, all inside the old Amsterdam boundaries. Take a seat on the bench and have a good look around.

The cache is a box, hidden under a robust wood construction. Watch out when you get the cache, there is plenty of water around.
