DO NOT STOP ON THE HIGHWAY TO FIND THIS CACHE! Please exit off the highway and start from the parking coordinates on Mill Bay Road on the west side of the highway.
Kiwibirdman's "Large Obnoxious" caches were archived before I started caching, so I've only ever read about them and never did get a chance to find them. However, you can still consider this a tribute to those hides. Do you have some big swag you want to get rid of? Do you have a big travel bug in your possession that you want to unload somewhere? They'll be right at home here! This is definitely not a "micro in the woods" like my Blitz hide from last year!
If you want to trade for some swag, the item you bring can be big. If your trade item can be affected by water (ie. books, electronics, etc.), I ask that you please put it in a sealed bag if possible. The container is completely watertight, but rain may still get inside when people open it during the wetter parts of the year, so a second layer of protection will help ensure the contents stay dry and the container clean. I have a good stock of baggies at home, so I'll visit the cache occasionally and bag any unbagged items before we get to the wet time of year. The container also still has quite a bit of room left, so I plan on coming back sometime soon to add even more swag!
Please keep in mind that I've gone to a lot of effort to stock this cache. The contents are trade items, not gifts or prizes. If you want one of the items inside, please leave another item of roughly equal or greater value in exchange. If you don't have anything to trade with, please don't take one of the items, because that's pretty much the same as stealing. Also note that money is not considered a valid "trade item". This isn't a shop where you can buy things, it's a geocache. This cache won't be much fun if everyone just takes items and we end up with an empty container!
Instructions for the best way to close the container are printed on the cover of the logbook. Please make sure the locking ring is properly seated in place to hold the lid shut.
