This cache will take you at Katsounaki, my favorite beach of Xerocampos. This place can get crowded in August, but there is hardly anybody there at any other time. Sea daffodils (pancratium maritimum) flower in the dunes behind the beach in late August and September, creating a spectacular sight.
You might need trekking shoes as the cache is hidden at rocky terrain very close to a marked footpath that connects Xerocampos with Kato Zakros. Read more about this path
here. You will meet a fence but it isn't a problem as the door is permanently open. The cache is a plastic container. Some nice sea shells await the first finders as a present!
In summer, don't forget your swimming suit. Swimming in Katsunaki can be unforgettable especialy if there is no strong wind.
