Distinguished Residents of Buckinghamshire #12 Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Birding Bob: I enjoyed putting together this series of puzzles based on distinguished people who have at some time resided in Buckinghamshire, learning something about them in the process. Visiting the caches to remove the containers is a process tinged with sadness but one that brought back many happy memories. Many thanks to those, more than a hundred in total, who took the trouble to solve the puzzles and visit this attractive area to search for the caches.

The cache is hidden on common land but not adjacent to a path. You are advised to dress for wet ground and the occasional bramble. When the surrounding trees are in full leaf, the time taken for your GPSr to arrive at an accurate reading increases significantly. The container is a small click-lock box 80 x 80 x 50mm, containing only a log sheet. Please bring your own pen. There is good roadside parking.
