Placed this cache while on a father/daughter backpacking trip to Little Harbor from San Clemente, California. We call our group the Society of Sacagawea (SoS).
This cache looks very similar to its surroundings. No need to go tromping into the plants. It's in plain view, but will take a keen eye. During the summer months, there will be many muggles about, so please use stealth. Bring your own pen and take care to make sure the log is sealed tight in the zip lock bag.
