Distinguished Residents of Buckinghamshire #4 Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Birding Bob: I enjoyed putting together this series of puzzles based on distinguished people who have at some time resided in Buckinghamshire, learning something about them in the process. Visiting the caches to remove the containers is a process tinged with sadness but one that brought back many happy memories. Many thanks to those, more than a hundred in total, who took the trouble to solve the puzzles and visit this attractive area to search for the caches.

Geocache Description:

The fourth in a series of fourteen tributes to residents of Buckinghamshire that have distinguished themselves in their chosen sphere. The puzzles are designed to be solvable by anyone familiar with Google.

Person Epsilon, born in Kensington, was resident in Buckinghamshire for twenty-seven years until his death. Known by two initials and a surname, he was the writer of 80 books, several hundred poems, 200 short stories, 4,000 essays and several plays. Whilst displaying wit and a sense of humour, he wrote serious commentaries on many topics, principally government, politics, economics, philosophy and theology. Notoriously forgetful, Epsilon was a large man, standing 6 feet 4 inches and weighing around 21 stone; he dressed in a cape and a crumpled hat and carried a swordstick. At the age of 48 Epsilon converted to Roman
Catholicism. There is a proposal that he be beatified.

Epsilon was born on AB mm CyDE
The numbers of letters in the name of the best known character in his short stories are F G.
