Auf Lanzarote gibt es Millionen von Steinen jeder erdenklichen Art und Güte, Form, Farbe und Beschaffenheit. Leider hatte bisher nicht jeder Stein das Vergnügen, mal im Meer geschwommen zu sein. Dies möchten wir mit unserem Cache ändern. Wir haben hierzu nahe Haria unseren allerersten Cache für euch installiert. Ziel: In die Box soll jeweils ein Stein VON Lanzarote eingelegt und einer entnommen werden. Der herausgenommene Stein soll ins Meer geworfen werden, auf dass er rund werde und das Schwimmen lerne. Wir haben als Grundausstattung einen Lavastein aus dem Timanfaya Gebiet mit nach Haria gebracht und in die Box gelegt. Natürlich interessiert uns nicht nur das Wohlergehen der Steine, sondern ihr sollt auch etwas von der Gegend sehen. Deswegen parkt ihr am besten im Ortskern von Haria, da kann man ein bisschen was von diesem netten kleinen Städtchen besichtigen (samstags gibt es einen schicken Handwerkermarkt). Von dort führt ein besserer Feldweg (den man notfalls auch befahren kann) den nächstgelegen Hausberg hinauf. Auf der Hälfte des Weges hat man hat einen grandiosen Ausblick auf den Montana Corona, den Los Helechos und ins “Tal der 1000 Palmen”. Danach führt der Feldweg rechts zu einer Ziegenfarm (wohl bei Bedarf sogar mit frischem Ziegenkäse). Da wir jetzt noch keinen Hunger haben, sondern einen Cache heben wollen, gehen wir links und erreichen mehrere Höhlen im Fels. Ziel erreicht, Cache gefunden? Und nicht vergessen: Dem nächsten Cacher einen Stein hinterlassen und dem entnommenen Stein das Schwimmen beibringen. Viel Spaß beim Heben und beim Erkunden dieses schönen Flecken Erde. On Lanzarote there are a million stones of every form, colour and material. Because we think that it's a pity until now not everyone of them had the pleasure of learn swimming in the ocean, we want to change this with or first cache. Your best start in Haria. You can park near the city centre and first you should visit this nice little town, it is really worth a look (on Saturday there is an art market). Afterwards you have to walk the small way to the top of the home mountain. Half the way to the cache enjoy the great view on mount corona, mount helechos and the "valley of 1000 palms". Later on the right hand the way leads you to a goat farm with fresh goat cheese - but we are not hungry because of geocaching. Our way leads us left to a couple of caves. Here you will find the cache won't you? Do not forget to leave a stone for the next cacher - and to teach swimming to the one you taken out of the box.
