How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

The Elim Church was formerly known as the Elim Oasis Centre. The building was occupied by the Royal British Legion until 2011.

The church was founded in the mid-1980's, but they did not have a building of their own until 2011. Previously church services were held in local schools and community centres.

The building is in use most days of the week, including a cafe which is open to the public. This could be a cache n' dash with short stay parking to the side of the church. You are seeking a magnetic nano container low down in a position where someone in wheelchair would be able to retrieve it. It has a terrain rating of 1 star and the attributes show a wheelchair icon, so it is important that it is not moved to a higher position.

Geocaching Etiquette. geocaching.com states under 'Help Center' in Paragraph 1.7: 'We like to keep things fun for everyone, so we have a few rules we encourage everyone to follow. Sign both the logbook and log your find online to get your smiley. Geocache owners love reading about your experience'. There are more rules, but this is the first one. This cache owner requests that if on the rare occasion geocachers are unable to sign, an explanation is given in their log. A photo of the cache, if possible should then be sent through the messaging system.
