This is my first cache. It's 2 virtual caches in close proximity of
each other. The theme is historical. Start in a street with the
same surname as the worlds the first succesful person to perform a
heart transplant. You've heard of the 39 steps? Well there are a
lot more here. I make it almost a step a day for a year.(If you
count them let me know your tally)
Been to the gym lately? This stepping machine will take you up
148 metres.
Samuel Morse would feel at home at the top of the stairs. Here
you will find 2 virtual caches in close proximity of each
other.
It should take less than an hour there and back but choose the
day/time well unless you like heat. There is no shade. We often take
a picnic supper and enjoy the superb view of Simonstown and False
Bay. You can even walk down in the dark with the aid of a
torch.
To claim the cache you need to answer 3 questions.
- Who lies buried at the coordinates above?
- How many hinges are there on the rusty white gate?
- Who do we remember at the coordinates S 34 11.866 E 018 25.573.
