I was looking at Google Earth again, trying to figure out where to hide another cache at Mohawk. I found this round thing, and had no idea what it was. I still don't, even after finding it. I couldn't get to it, there was a fence in the way. It looks like some kind of water holding tank. You should go up and look at it when you come find the cache. It's just to the south of the cache. Do you know what it is? The cache is a small regular size container.
You can park in Mohawk Park to get to this, but if you decide to visit Oxley Nature Center, the gates are open daily from 8 am - 5 pm, closed most holidays. Pets or bikes are not allowed on the Nature Center trails, but leashed ones can enjoy other parts of Mohawk Park.
On weekends, April 1 - October 31, you'll need to bring $2/vehicle to enter Mohawk Park, unless you are a member of Friends of Oxley Nature Center or Zoo Friends.
