This physical cache was removed 1/18/03 by Mesa District Park Rangers. The cache was placed before it was known that caches could not be placed here.
The cache is now a virtual cache. To log the cache post a picture of you holding your GPSr against the backdrop of the Balancing Rock Formation...You don' t have to hike up to the Balancing Rock Formation itself.
An alternate method of logging the cache if you can't upload a picture is to e-mail me the answer to the following question: What naturally occuring geologic feature is right along the trail just up the hill from the posted coordinates.
This will have to do for the virtual until we can get up there and maybe rethink this a bit. The real prize of this cache is the beauty of the surrounding country...hope you enjoy it.
