Gemini Canada Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Wizard of Ooze: As the cache owner has not indicated that they have visited the cache location to replace it if missing, perform needed maintenance, or verify that it is still there within the requested time period, I am regretfully archiving the cache to clear it from the active cache database and open the area to new caching opportunities.

If the cache owner would like to replace a cache at this location, please submit a new geocache listing and it will be reviewed under the current geocaching.com guidelines. Please don’t post a note on your archived listing as it won’t be forwarded to me and I won’t see it. If you need to contact me, please do so by emailing me through the contact link on my geocaching.com profile page or through my website www.wizardofooze.com

Thank you for your contributions to geocaching, and we hope to see you actively geocaching once again in the near future.

Geocache Description:

To get the final coordinates for this geocache you have to get your hands on the Gemini Device (Canada) travel bug, go to the posted coordinates, and install 2x AA batteries. It will then display the final coordinates on its LCD screen. There you go, nice and easy.

Well, no. You wouldn't want it do be that easy would you. Where is the challenge in that. There is one additional thing you need to do
This Gemini device is not alone. It has a twin created by geocacher r10n and it lives in the UK. The Gemini Device (UK) travel bug will do exactly the same things as its Canadian twin, and when successfully activated lead a Geocacher to a final UK location.
To get the two Gemini devices to reveal their secrets both must be activated at the same time. So your one additional step to solve this puzzle Geocache is to team-up with someone in the UK, over 7000 km and an 8 hours time difference away, and power up the two devices simultaneously. Aren't we evil...
The given puzzle coordinates are in a park so there is no need to go onto any private property. You should find a park bench where you can sit and wait for your UK counterpart to activate the twin. There is an unactivated geocoin for a FTF prize (supplied by KNL_Caching). Thanks to r10n for all the hard work in designing the cache and the concept - and to KNL_caching for all his work in helping get this cache published and the TB working..
