Geocache Description:

CACHE IS NOT AT LISTED COORDINATES. Bison tube with tiny writing utensil inside; you may wish to bring your own pencil.

Auguste Dupin is no household name but he is generally regarded as the detective in the first detective story, by Edgar Allan Poe, before the word "detective" was even coined. The Murders in the Rue Morgue was written by Poe in 1841, and Dupin appeared in two additional Poe stories. Most literary scholars agree that without Dupin there would be no Sherlock Holmes or Hercule Poirot nor any other classic detectives as we know them.

This time we'll try to supply something for everyone: 5 different puzzles that all point to the same answer. Choose your specialty: music, science, baseball, football or movies. Please mention your choice (and/or the choice which gave you the solution) in your log.
