Geocache Description:

This is a disguised micro placed to the side of a local public footpath in the village of Castle Donington.

This is a disguised micro cashe containing only a note book, so please bring your own pen. Local village history says the foot path that this cashe is located on crosses what was once a flowering meadow / walled garden (one meaning of the word Mead ) no one really knows were the Bailiffs come in to it though. But it is a nice little ancient path well worth a wander. There is good parking at the top end of Diesworth Lane if you plan on using the car and the southern end of the path is easy to pick up from this point. Please be aware that the fields you are required to cross do at certain times of the year contain cattle, so please keep dogs under control and on leads. Also keep in mind that the end of the path near the cashe location emerges onto a main road quite suddenly so again keep dogs and children close at your side. Wellies are a must after heavy rain. There are a lot of other caches around this area and a full days hunting could be achieved with ease.

Please take care when replacing the cashe so it proves a challenge for the next hunter, and dont forget a pen.

When exiting the path just a few yards after the cashe location, if you turn right and climb the hill you will return to the end of Diesworth Lane making a round trip of just under 1 mile.

This trip is not wheelchair or pushchair friendly due to a number of climb over type stiles and after heavy rain parts due get very muddy.
